  • The cost of getting a tattoo depends on various factors such as its size, style, the area of the body it covers, the design's complexity, and the artist's expertise. It's essential to keep in mind that quality tattoos are an investment.

  • No. The price reflects the quality of the work. During your booking, mention any budget constraints to receive honest feedback.

  • Cash, credit cards, Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal are accepted.

  • The duration varies based on factors such as size, style, body area, and design complexity. Discuss with the artist to get a rough estimate and plan extra time for your appointment.

  • Tattoos are permanent but can fade over time. To keep them looking their best, apply sunscreen daily and get touch-ups every few years, depending on how well they age. Generally, blackwork and black & grey tattoos fade less quickly compared to color tattoos, which may require more frequent touch-ups.

  • All designs will be shown on the day of the appointment. Extra time is allotted for minor changes on the appointment day.

  • Bringing your own artwork or references is encouraged. The artist might need to rework drawings to ensure they translate well into a durable and aesthetic tattoo.

  • Yes. Certain tattoos will not be done, including but not limited to:

    ·      Ashes incorporated into a tattoo

    ·      Glow-in-the-dark, UV, or blacklight tattoos

    ·      The inside of the lip

    ·       Gang tattoos

    ·       Blatantly obscene tattoos

    ·       Genital tattoos

    ·       Hate-based and racist tattoos

    ·       Tattoos that promote negativity, such as "white pride" or "brown pride," will not be done as they are contrary to a positive and inclusive philosophy.

  • Incorporating ashes into tattoo ink is not a service I offer. While this practice can hold significant sentimental value, the potential health risks and complications make it unsuitable for my services.

  • I do not provide glow-in-the-dark, UV, or blacklight tattoos. These specialized inks come with potential long-term health effects and are challenging to work with under standard lighting conditions, making them unsuitable for my professional standards.

  • Probably. A consultation is typically needed to determine the imagery required to cover the old tattoo adequately. There is a difference between a cover-up and a new tattoo placed over an old one.

  • This depends on the severity and maturity of the scar. Generally, a scar should be at least one year old, and a consultation is recommended to decide if tattooing over it is feasible.

  • Please ensure that you fill out the digital release form upon your arrival for your appointment.

The release form and aftercare instructions will be emailed to you. Please bring a valid state or federal-issued photo ID to the appointment, as it is necessary to honor the appointment.

  • Pain varies per person and tattooed area. Generally, post-tattoo feels like a sunburn, with normal symptoms like swelling, redness, and tenderness.

  • Pain varies, but typically, more painful areas include the head, hand/fingers, ribcage, sternum, foot/ankle, inside of the wrist, and inner thigh.

  • All products are latex-free.

  • Ensuring a smooth and pleasant tattoo experience starts with proper preparation. Here are some friendly tips to help you get ready for your session:

    • Bring Identification: Please bring a valid photo ID issued by the state or federal government. This is required for age verification and paperwork purposes. Note that expired IDs are not acceptable.

    • Follow the Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 72 hours notice. This allows us to manage the schedule effectively.

    • Maintain Good Hygiene: Take a bath or shower before your appointment and avoid using perfumes and scented lotions to prevent any potential skin irritation.

    • Prioritize Your Health: Ensure you are well-rested, hydrated, and have eaten within two to four hours before your appointment. Healthy clients typically experience better healing.

    • Bring Snacks and Water: Having some water and snacks on hand can help you stay comfortable and maintain your energy levels during the session.

    • Avoid Alcohol: Refrain from consuming alcohol the night before your appointment as it can thin your blood, making the tattoo process more challenging.

    • Charge Your Devices: Make sure your phone or tablet is fully charged so you can stay entertained and connected, especially during longer sessions.

    • Arrive Early: Give yourself plenty of time to get to the studio without rushing. Avoid scheduling any significant travel on the same day to keep yourself relaxed and unhurried.

    • Dress Comfortably: Wear loose-fitting clothing that provides easy access to the area being tattooed and ensures comfort over an extended period. Consider bringing a change of clothes in case of ink transfer.

    • Come Alone: While bringing friends or family might seem supportive, arriving alone can create a more focused and calm environment for both you and the artist.

    • Check-In at the Front Desk: Upon arrival, please check in at the front desk, scan the QR code for your artist, and complete the consent form. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions before the session begins.

    • Meet Your Artist: The introduction will take place in a welcoming environment. This is the perfect time to discuss any concerns and review the design. You will be provided with information throughout the process to keep you informed and comfortable.

Following these guidelines will help to ensure a positive tattoo experience, promoting quicker healing and overall satisfaction.

  • Yes, eating within two to four hours before the appointment is ideal to maintain stable blood sugar levels.

  • It’s not recommended to consume alcohol before the appointment.

  • It is strongly urged to wait until after pregnancy and breastfeeding. The physical stress of tattooing can impact the health of both mother and baby.

  • If you are getting your arm tattooed or another particularly hairy part of your body, the area might need to be shaved beforehand, similar to preparation for surgery. Feel free to ask in advance if you should shave.

  • Communicate before using numbing creams, as some brands can negatively affect the tattoo.

  • The studio adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness as per the California State Health Licensing Department. Look for sterile, single-use, and disposable supplies.

  • The studio uses disposable and single-use pre-sterilized instruments where applicable, including needles and tubes. All surfaces and equipment are thoroughly cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectant and covered with disposable, single-use plastic covers for each tattoo session.

  • Yes, one complimentary touchup is included within six months against artist defects. Touchups outside six months or due to improper care will be charged at the artist's hourly rate.

  • Follow the aftercare instructions provided by the artist to ensure the best healing process.

Sun Protection: Use 30+ SPF sunblock.

Avoid Water: Short showers only for two weeks and avoid baths, pools, and oceans.

Avoid Strenuous Activities: Prevent excessive sweating.

    Tattoo Aftercare

  • Avoid tanning as it can fade and damage a tattoo, especially during the healing process. Use SPF 30+ sunblock if exposed to the sun.

  • If all aftercare instructions provided by the artist are followed, it will take about two weeks for a tattoo to completely heal. Some body parts take a little longer to heal because of friction or constant use. Tattoos on the torso where shirts, bras, and pants can constrict and where pivotal movement is constant can also take longer to heal. Areas of the body with natural seams, like elbows and knees, can also take more time.

  • Scabbing, flaking, peeling, and dryness are all natural parts of the healing process. Severe scabs that are deep and thick may indicate the need to change the aftercare routine and should be addressed with the tattoo artist.

  • Infections are extremely rare. More often, perceived infections are irritations. Consult the artist and, if needed, a physician.

Please refer to the Tattoo Aftercare Instructions.
